Legendary dark fantasy game for mobile

Adapting the basic elements and atmosphere from popular epic games, such as Dark Souls and Bloodborne, Giant Network came up with their mobile game version called Pascal's Wager. It is a role-playing game set in a dark fantasy style environment. It follows the life of Terrence, a courier banished by the Church. In the game, he unexpectedly discovers his long-estranged wife’s involvement in the recent fall of the Colossi. Pascal's Wager will take you on an emotional ride as Terrence searches for his wife and seek the truth behind the world he is living in. This game will tackle agony, betrayal, and atonement. 

Immersive action role-playing gameplay  

In addition to Terrence, Pascal's Wager offers three other playable characters, namely Viola, Norwood, and Benita. Although these characters share the same experience, each of them contains skills, combat modes, and upgrade trees unique to their own. Each character has three stages of sanity, and every time your sanity barometer falls below a certain threshold, your state will change from normal to abnormal to lunatic. If this happens, the world you see changes as well. Additionally, the game also comes with interesting opponents, as well as rewarding fights, especially during boss battles. Be warned though, the combat fight you’ll have with the boss is extra difficult compared to what you encounter with real enemies. Each attack they do can put you in a devastating state. 

Pascal's Wager exhibits impressive gameplay. However, there are still some areas that need further development. One of these is the game’s voice acting. It is so stiff that it disrupts the game’s atmosphere. It also can be a hindrance for you to fully engage in the story. Furthermore, if you will compare Pascal's Wager graphic design to other console games of this generation, you will see how it is falling behind because of its blurry and indistinct scene textures. The game levels can also be extremely complicated for you to surpass, and you will need to patiently master it over time. 

Nevertheless, Pascal’s Wager is still worthy to purchase and play. As it is a paid game, you will be free from any microtransactions or advertisements that will degrade your game experience. On top of that, it also provides a robust PVP and PVE multiplayer modes, which added more to the best action game experience it serves.
